Most likely to cry at a stranger’s wedding.
Rarely turns down a glass of Prosecco (especially when accompanied by fries).
Will probably talk your ear off (but will leave space for you to do the same).
There’s little I enjoy more than being in the studio, clippers in hand, up to my ears in flowers. It must be something about the way each individual bloom has an energy that speaks directly to the spirit. When I design I let the flowers do the talking - they inform me of where they’d like to be. It’s a meditative practice - one that always seems to release me from what is old, bring me back to who I am in the present, and give me hope for what’s ahead.
Whether I’m designing for your wedding, a special event, or even contributing to a brand shoot, it’s the same idea that makes designing for others fulfilling to me. The little details that whisper of where you came from, proclaim who you are & point to where you’re headed. Handing you the long-awaited blooms. The ritual of it all - that’s what gets me the most.
